I’m betting you really don’t care when I got my first camera (even though it did have a totally rad flash cube!), how my children inspire me, or any other such esoteric ephemera (how’s that for assonance?). Heck, I don’t even find it all that interesting!

So, I thought I’d provide you with 10 totally random facts about me (at least that’s fun, right?)

1. I always eat sandwiches in a circular fashion–hamburgers make this especially easy. Yes, I’m odd.

2. I have a brain full of meaningless trivia…and yes, I love participating in trivia nights. And I’m still bitter about a game of Trivial Pursuit I lost when I was 16–I still remember the question that won my opponent the game. That’s kind of pathetic when you think about it…(UPDATE: I have been vindicated—I won the long overdue rematch and can now sleep at night)

3. I love to read. And while I have a degree in English, I have no desire to read the classics (well, not again anyway). Give me something that is entertaining and is a total escape.

4. My favorite color is PINK.

5. I’ve watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail dozens of times and still laugh like a lunatic every. single. time. While quoting most of the dialogue. “Bring me…a…shrubbery!”

6. I have three sons who alternately make me understand why some species eat their young and why almost all are willing to die to protect them. They’re never boring though–gotta give ‘em that!

7. I have the best friends in the world. Seriously, I do. Even though they make fun of me for fact #4. And one in particular torments me for #2.

8. I believe Sonic’s Diet Cherry Limeade is the nectar of the gods.

9. I don’t like ice cream. Or Mondays (bonus points if you can name the band who sang about not liking Mondays).

10. Speaking of music–if you commandeered my pink ipod, you’d find everything from AC/DC to Warren Zevon, from Elvis to the Eagles, and anything and everything in between. Eclectic is my middle name. Well, not really. As you may have guessed, my middle name starts with the letter g.
