Wow, I’m a big blog slacker!
Posted on January 31, 2010
I guess my belated New Year’s resolution will be to blog regularly–heaven knows I never lack things to talk about! I have some new products I’m very excited about and I’m revamping my pricing structure to provide you with the best possible value for custom portrait art.
I’m committed to giving back to my community and would love to donate a gift card to your non-profit group’s fundraising efforts. So if you’re having a silent auction soon, call or email me. I’d love to help out!

New for 2010: Signature Series Fine Art Prints
Posted on January 3, 2010
Introducing the Pamela G Signature Series!
Fine art prints complement both traditional and modern home decor, and the Signature Series provides the opportunity to give the art pieces displayed in your home a more personal touch.
The Signature Series features photographic art pieces created by Pamela G Photography. Each image features a meaningful expression with a classic black and white finish. These timeless images capture a moment, but last a lifetime.
Signature Series images are only available as art pieces, and are meant to be displayed on your wall. Each piece includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Digital files are not available for any Signature Series image.
Signature Series images are printed on cotton rag fine art paper with a velvelty soft texture, adding to the timeless appeal of the image. Each Signature Series art piece includes (3) Mini Signature Art Prints to share with family members (your choice of 5×7 or 8×10). The Mini Signature Art Prints are created on professional photographic paper, bonded to styrene, and sealed with a protective archival lacquer.
Fine Art Prints are created on fine art paper engineered specifically for digital artists, then bonded to styrene, and sealed with a protective archival lacquer. Standout mounts are also available.

Trying something new…
Posted on October 25, 2009
Sometimes, certain images call for something MORE. This image just drew me in (who could resist those baby blues?), but it needed something. I think this treatment is perfect–it’s warm and texturally interesting and the brown tones make his blue eyes POP. Yeah…this one is getting printed BIG!

Taking photographs of one’s own children…
Posted on October 25, 2009
is rather like herding cats. Blindfolded. Through deep sucking mud. That is to say, it is a less than pleasant and often less than productive task. But not today–today I captured proof that I do indeed have three sons and also have proof that on occasion, they even love one another. Today was a good day to be a mom…and a photographer. And while the fall colors are glorious right now, I love, LOVE classic black and white portraits.

I believe I have mentioned my love of cupcakes before…
Posted on October 14, 2009
so you can imagine my excitement to find out that Edwardsville now has a cupcake shop! The Cupcakery is now open and I can’t wait to stop by and do some expert taste testing. Hmm…think I’ll have any help from the hooligans?
